CAS Sympathy and Thinking of You

Hi, Crafters,

I had to make two quick cards--one for a friend who is ill and another for my pastor whose mother passed away.

They are the same card but with different sentiments; both sentiments are from SU Heartfelt Blooms, and the patterned paper was die cut with Sizzix Stitched Ovals. A small bow on each card makes them have more of a finished look.

I added some half pearls to embellish the cards.

I am entering this design in the following challenges ending:

Romans 10:9-11
9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

Acts 13:38-39
38 "Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. 39 Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do.  NLT

A Simple Prayer for Salvation:

O, God!  I know that I am a sinner. I thank You that Jesus Christ, Your Holy Son, was born of a virgin, came and lived a sinless life here on earth, and died on the cross as a sinless sacrifice for my sin. He is no longer dead, but rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. I accept His atonement for every sin I have ever committed and receive Your salvation. I put all of my trust in Jesus Christ of Nazareth and receive Him as Lord of my life from this moment on. Thank You Father God for this grace given to me.

2 Corinthians 5:17  This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.  NLT

  3. What lovely cards. Isn't it great when you find a card design that works for multiple occasions? I like how the ovals are slightly offset to the left and the sentiment offset to the right. Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations CAS.
