Jesus Is the Reason for the Season

 Merry Christmas, Crafters,

I made this fun Christmas card from elements I have had for years; I have decided to go shopping in my craft room and pull out things that haven't been used for awhile.

A piece of white cardstock was dry embossed with a Darice Holly Vines EF; then I used dark green ink on a brayer to highlight the raised part. The sentiment is from SU Reason for the Season stamp set, stamped in white and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The scalloped die cut circles are from Spellbinders and a double-looped green bow was added. I sprayed it all with Krylon Diamond Dust spray. The half pearls accentuate the red berries on the holly. (Please pardon the shadow on the image!  😊

I am entering this card in the following challenges ending:

Romans 10:9-11
9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

Acts 13:38-39
38 "Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. 39 Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do.  NLT

A Simple Prayer for Salvation:

O, God!  I know that I am a sinner. I thank You that Jesus Christ, Your Holy Son, was born of a virgin, came and lived a sinless life here on earth, and died on the cross as a sinless sacrifice for my sin. He is no longer dead, but rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. I accept His atonement for every sin I have ever committed and receive Your salvation. I put all of my trust in Jesus Christ of Nazareth and receive Him as Lord of my life from this moment on. Thank You Father God for this grace given to me.

2 Corinthians 5:17  This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.  NLT
