Today's post is another birthday card. If you are like me, you use birthday cards more than any other, and it is really nice to have a few pretty ones on had both for those birthdays that you know are coming up, as well as for surprise birthdays that were not planned for ahead of time. It is nice to just go to my card stash and pick an already-made-card for that spur-of-the-moment situation when there is just not time to make a card, but one is needed ASAP.
So, today's card is for the "stockpile."
I used a pretty butterfly paper placed on top of a blue-on-blue polka dot paper. There was a doily lying around and I decided to cut out the center of it; I took a needle and thread and went around the inside edge and gathered the paper and pulled the gathers down to the right size. On top of it is the same polka dot paper and the sentiment which was printed from my computer, punched with a scallop punch, then popped up on a larger scallop punch. Blue liquid pearl dots were placed around the outside edge. A little double-looped gingham bow was attached; a green Spellbinders "Sprigs" die cut was placed over another block of polka dot paper and a double-layered Memory Box Pippi Butterfly was placed on one of the foliage leaves.
Here is the card:

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
