White on White with Wire

Today I am entering a challenge that has a very interesting twist to it; it's WIRE! What a challenge!

The guidelines are to make a white on white card, make sure there's a butterfly, and for an extra twist, add something made of wire.

Star of Wonder

Today's card is very CAS in appearance. I used a nontraditional color for the background--purple.  The new Stampin' Up stamp and die set came out recently, and while experimenting with the stamps and coordinating dies, this card just used two of the Starlight Thinlets dies to create the focal point of the card. It was cut out and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder. The sentiment and smaller stars were also heat embossed in silver, as was the inside stamping sentiment and stars. The large star on the front is embellished with a big rhinestone.
