Many Blessings

Can you ever have too much bling? I made this card for my daughter's birthday, and it's loaded with glitter and sparkle. I layered two kinds of patterned paper, then topped it with gold-flecked tulle. The butterflies are punched from a Stampin' Up punch, glittered, and finally embellished with pearls. The sentiment is from the web, which I found years ago. Sorry that I cannot tell you where to find it. A gold wire-rimmed bow finishes the card.

Spring Cheer

A few days ago I inked an embossing folder with pale blue ink; the end result is subtle. I set it aside to use at a later time, which, in this case, happened to be today.

You can see that there are a lot of elements in this layout--lace, buttons, flowers, twine, butterfly, etc.

Just a Note

Today's card is an "all purpose" one that can be used for many occasions; I used some papers that have been in the drawer for years! Cleaned out the drawer and threw away lots of papers that will never be used in this lifetime (smile). 

The colors in the picture are not very true, even though lots of tweaking tried to make it better. The green colors are  mild olive color, which did not show up very well.

A Cheery Hello

Today's card pictures a cheery little bird tweeting a little "Hello!."

The honeycomb diecut is from the Sizzix Four Dies pack; little birdie is a Stampin' Up punch. A red liquid paint dot accents the bird's eye, and a yellow bow finishes the card.
