The Real Gift (2)

I loved the sentiment "Jesus, the real Gift is You," so much that I made several cards with it. This is the true meaning of Christmas, and this CAS card is very straightforward and uncluttered. Sometimes when you want the message to be front and center, less is more. I might use this sentiment a lot on next year's cards, as well.

Starting with white cardstock, a green textured layer from my paper stash was added, then the sentiment was punched with a Fiskars scallop punch and backed with pop dots onto a red circle (also from my paper stash). It is attached with some pop dots to the green piece. The card is finished with a big red and gold bow at the bottom.

Here is the card:

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT

  9. This is such a wonderful creation. I love the bow and most especially the message because it is nothing but the truth. Thanks for blessing us with your artwork this week at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with God's Word in Proverbs 18:10 which says, "The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." God bless, always!
