Today's post is a Christmas card that was so much fun to make.
The tree was lots of fun constructing using layers of branches punched from the Martha Stewart Pine Branch punch; the background for the tree is from a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots EF; the branches are decorated with Viva Liquid Pearls "ornaments." The window is from PoppyStamps, Small Madison Window and the pine branches are from the same punch as the tree, but are white and glittered to look like snow. The outside of the "building" is from a Spellbinders Bricks and Bark EF and is inked with grey ink using a brayer. The sentiment is from Sweet 'n' Sassy Stamps and is die cut from Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles. A little green bow finishes the window decoration.
The picture below looks like the window is crooked, but that is just the angle of the card when the picture was taken... oh, well. :o)
I am entering this card in the following challenges ending:
Jul ?? Joan's Touch - AG UE

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
Acts 13:38-39
"Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do." NLT

ReplyDeleteThis is fantastically clever. I love the scene and how you created the tree with die-cuts and added the liquid pearls. The glitters complete the look and it's beautiful! Thanks for blessing us with your card at our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with God's Word of encouragement in Psalm 16:8 which says, "I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." God bless always.
