Springtime Birdie Birthday

Today's card is whimsical, and was made from a long-forgotten Cricut cartridge I had put away and had actually forgotten that I had.

Most of us are SO READY for spring to come, having had a harsh and bitterly cold winter. Aren't we all ready to see spring come and bless us with her beauty?

The background of this card was made by sponging green ink toward the bottom of the scene, to accent the grass around the fence. I cut a random cloud design out of an old scrap of cardstock and used it as a mask, dabbing sky blue in between the "clouds."

Other tools made to make the card are:

Cricut Serenade Cartridge
Cheery Lynn Grass Border Die
Poppy Stamps Picket Fence Die
Close to My Heart Just to Say Sentiment Set
Viva Liquid Pearls

Here is the card:

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT

Acts 13:38-39
"Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do." NLT
