Just Because

Today's card was almost an "oopsie," but I like the way it turned out.

The original patterned paper was aqua and gold and beige. I used heat embossing on the sentiment and afterwards sprayed some glue on it and sprinkled it with gold glitter. The glitter was unevenly distributed, so I started rubbing the surface. The glitter that was used was Martha Stewart, and the rubbing caused it to meld to the paper; it almost looked like gold leafing, and it was in a random pattern, which turned out kind of nice (unexpectedly!).

These were used in making the card:

Spellbinders Wonderful Wings
Martha Stewart Gold Glitter
Just Rite Grand Sentiments
VersaMark Ink
Gold Embossing Powder
Gold Liquid Pearls

Here it is:

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT

Acts 13:38-39
"Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do." NLT
