Today I tried a great trick that I learned from a YouTube video by Maymay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe3P7OC8qUM
It is for a curtain folded Christmas tree, and was so much fun to make. The pretty Christmas tree paper was printed from a beautiful selection of papers I won at A Bit More Time to Craft. I have been hoarding a string of plastic Christmas lights in my drawer for years, just waiting for the right occasion to put them to use, so today was the day! The tree need double-sided paper, but Maymay suggests that if you do not have any, just stamp the wrong side of the paper with a patterned stamp, so I did.
I started out with red cardstock and ran it through a Darice EF, but that's kind of a moot point now, because all the glitter (both coarse and fine) pretty much made the embossing undetectable. But, what can I say? I like bling! I also ran the trunk of the tree through an EF for some extra texture.
Here is the card:

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
