Spring Flowers

I made a very simple design with today's card highlighting the coming of Spring, which is welcomed by many this time of year. Actually, I made two cards of basically the same design, just with two different sentiments.

The first one is for a friend who is undergoing chemotherapy. I wanted to send her a very bright, cheerful card to lift her spirits.

The EF is Darice Julie's Garden; I used the debossed side, although it was a tough choice because they are both so pretty! The sentiment is from ODBD Hyacinth group, and it was punched out with a SU retired punch. A liquid pearl was used on the butterfly

The next card used a Darice Cherry Blossom EF; I love this one because it always comes out so crisp and clean. It was another hard decision whether to use the embossed side or the debossed side, but the embossed side won out this time. Stamp is from Hampton Art and it's cut out with Sizzix Stitched Ovals dies. Liquid pearls were used on the sentiment and on the butterfly.

I am entering these cards in the following challenges ending:

Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.  NLT

Acts 13:38-39
"Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God--something the law of Moses could never do."  NLT

  2. I really do not know which of those 2 cards I like the beat they are both so full of the joys of spring. I do know what you mean about being undecided as to which side of the embossed card to use as i too have several folders that do that to me. Thanks for sharing with CHN patterned paper challenge.
