Birthday Card in Hues of Purple

Good Afternoon, Crafters,

Just bumping around in my craft room today and came up with this card; I haven't used a purple/orchid/lavender palette in a long time, but decided to try putting something together with these colors. The Stampin' Up stamp I used was given to me a year ago by a fellow crafting friend.

These were used:

  • Spellbinders Delicate Asters Die Set
  • Cheery Lynn Art Deco Corners A
  • Martha Stewart Royal Butterfly Punch
  • Stampin' Up Petite Pairs Sentiment Stamp
  • Sizzix Stitched Ovals Dies
  • Gingham Ribbon
  • Half Pearls

I am entering this card in the following challenges ending:

Romans 10:9-10  If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.  NLT

Acts 13:38-39  "Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God--something the law of Moses could never do."  NLT

A simple prayer for salvation:  O, God! I know that I am a sinner!  I thank You that Jesus Christ, Your holy Son, was born of a virgin, came and lived a sinless life here on earth, and died on the cross as a sinless sacrifice for my sin. He is no longer dead, but rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.  I accept His atonement for every sin I have ever committed, and receive Your salvation. I put all of my trust in Jesus Christ of Nazareth and receive Him as Lord of my life from this moment on. Thank You, Father God, for this grace given to me!

2 Corinthians 5:17  This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!  NLT

  4. Hi, Jen,

Saw your cute blog, and love that you love Jesus, too. You may remember that I tried to contact you about 3 years ago when we came to Oahu to visit our daughter and her family. I didn't get to meet you face to face, but love your Christian blog.
