Plaid Cheer

I made a card this week with a touch of bling. Sometimes I forget about using glitter, but it does cheer up any card, don't you think? The card has a pinkish plaid background with a tinge of coral flavor to it. The sentiment is from a Cuttlebug embossing folder and is inked with a brayer. None of my inks were the right color--the pink was too pink and the red was not right at all, so pink was brayered on first, then a coat of yellow went over that to make the color more coral. The pop up flower is die cut and a little yellow rolled flower from Cheery Lynn is glued into the center for added dimension. The flower is sprayed with glitter spray and is sprinkled with gold glitter for an added sparkle.

    Here is the card:

These are the tools used to make the card:

    Spellbinders:  Foliage; Aster Flower Topper
    Cheery Lynn:  Cuties Three
    Cuttlebug:  Happy Birthday EF
    Glitter, Glitter Spray

I am entering this card at Joan's Gardens ( for her challenge this week.

    Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
