This week at 365 Cards there was a challenge set out with a particular layout, so I went to it and came up with a card for it. I used the lovely art from Word Art Wednesday that was printed out from my computer--Psalm 103:2. I am entering this card at both these places and also at Simon Says, Friends of SpeedyTV, Flutterby Wednesdays and Crafty Ribbons Challenge.
Starting out with white cardstock, a blue layer was added, then a piece of patterned paper that had been run through a lattice EF; I also used an ink brayer to put some green ink on the raised parts to make them show up better. The next layer is a white square, also run through an EF. I had it on a surface that had some wet ink on it, so instead of throwing it away, I just added more to make the raised pattern show up more prominently. An oval green gingham piece left over from another project was added (I don't seem to be able to throw things away!), then the lovely sentiment layered on top of that. The yellow flower was added with a yellow rhinestone brad in the middle along with some green punched leaves. One larger butterfly and three small ones were added, and a yellow bow finished off the card.
Here it is:
Here are the tools used to make the card:
Spellbinders: Scalloped Ovals
Memory Box: Fabulous Phlox, Pippi Butterfly
Martha Stewart: Three-Leaf Punch
Paper Studio EF (2 different ones); Tiny Butterfly Punch
Our Daily Bread: Gingham Stamp
Yellow ribbon
Many rich blessings,

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
