Some friends are just golden. You know that God has put them in your life as a gift. This card celebrates that, and is for a very special friend who is, indeed, golden.
I started out with black cardstock with white polka dots that was from a package of pre-cut cards that you can get in a box at most craft stores. on top of that is a piece of holographic patterned paper that is meant to be a tissue type paper that is used to stuff gift bags, but I thought it was so pretty, I wanted to use it on a card. Next is a sentiment printed from my computer that says, "To a Dear Friend Who Is Golden." Next is a cutting of gold mesh ribbon placed on the bottom of the card and a gold bow made of the same ribbon. It has wire edges, so it is easily manipulated and holds a shape very well. Tucked onto the card is also three golden sparkly balls (Christmas isle in the floral department at the craft store), and a sprig of golden foliage.
Here is the card:
I am entering this card at Word Art Wednesdays (Anything Goes) and Crafty Ribbons (Anything Goes with Ribbon).

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
