2 Corinthians 5:17

I have used aluminum foil before for die cuts, but this is the first time for using it in an embossing folder. I used four thicknesses of it and ran it through a Darice Flower Frenzy EF. It was then lightly sprayed with E6000 Spray glue and lightly dabbed with a towel to remove the excess; then it was sprinkled with glitter. I didn't want to overwhelm the embossing with glitter because that might have masked the design. It would have been nice for the glitter to show up better in the photo, but my little iPhone camera does not pick up sparkles very well. In real life it glitters more. Next, a strip of silver rick-rack was run along the right hand side. The sentiment was printed from my computer and die cut with Sizzix 17 Labels (660060). The large butterfly is from Spellbinders Wonderful Wings and the small ones were punched with a Fiskars tiny butterfly punch. The larger butterfly is embellished with silver Viva Liquid Pearls.

Here it is:

This is what the aluminum foil looked like after running it through the embossing folder. The design really pops with a 3-D effect because of the holding power of the foil:

Romans 10:9-11

Acts 13:38-39
"Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do." NLT
