O Little Town of Bethlehem

 Good Morning, Cardmakers,

I'ts been quite awhile since I posted last--I'm sure all of you know how many things can take priority.

Today's card is one of the ones made for Christmas; making them ahead of time eases the business of the season so that cards are ready to be sent out in a timely manner.

I got a picture of the Christmas carol, O Little Town of Bethlehem from the internet and sized it so that it would not take up the whole real estate of an A2 card front. It is framed with a dark green paper and adhered to a lighter green background. I chose dark green because the coloring of the picture is shades of green.

Next, I sprayed the whole thing with gold glitter mist, attached a gold bow and adhered gold rhinestones randomly to make it sparkle even more. The tiny black looking dots on the music sheet are really gold flecks, although you can't see the sparkle on the card.

Here is the card:

Romans 10:9-11
9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

Acts 13:38-39
38 "Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. 39 Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do.  NLT

A Simple Prayer for Salvation:

O, God!  I know that I am a sinner. I thank You that Jesus Christ, Your Holy Son, was born of a virgin, came and lived a sinless life here on earth, and died on the cross as a sinless sacrifice for my sin. He is no longer dead, but rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. I accept His atonement for every sin I have ever committed and receive Your salvation. I put all of my trust in Jesus Christ of Nazareth and receive Him as Lord of my life from this moment on. Thank You Father God for this grace given to me.

2 Corinthians 5:17  This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.  NLT
