Clean and Simple Black and White

I had fun this week with making a card with a clean crisp look that is simple and does not have a lot of frou-frou.

I had to put on my thinking cap, because I tend to go overboard with lots and lots of embellishments. But the truth is, stunning cards can be made with a minimum of embellies if you just put your mind to it.

Starting out with white cardstock, I put a layer of black on top of it, and another layer of white on that, that had been run through an embossing folder. The sentiment is framed with an under layer of black, and is printed from my computer. It is finished of with a white with black polka dots grosgrain ribbon tied into a bow.

Here is the card:

Here are the tools used to make the card:

Spellbinders:  S4-310 Labels 18
Cuttlebug:  Cane Back Chair
Bow Easy

I am entering this card at  Artistic Inspirations Challenges (Clean and Simple), Word Art Wednesday (Anything Goes) and MFP Speedy TV. (Black and White).

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I always appreciate your visits. As always, God's highest and best to you today and every day.

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT

  1. Ginny,
I wonder how many times I have sat playing the guitar and singing this scripture?
It is a really beautiful car. Polka dots, embossing and those crisp die cuts.
