I am entering one more card for this week's challenge at Joan's Gardens. We are to make a Christmas card with ribbon and corner embellishments. I went a bit outside the traditional red and green colors and went with the colors in a sweet Victorian vintage picture I found on the internet of two angels.
Starting with David Tutera silver embossed cardstock, a double layer of gold tulle flecked with additional gold pieces is added. Corner pieces cut from aluminum foil and made from a Martha Stewart punch are put in two of the corners. The sentiment is punched from a Fiskars 2 inch scalloped oval punch, backed with blue-green and gold paper, as is the image. The image is also bordered with gold glitter glue. Both the image and the sentiment are attached with pop dots for dimension. Below the image is a glittery iridescent white double-looped bow made with Bow Easy. The rose is cut from Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms, and the leaves are from another punch from Martha Stewart. The rose is sprayed with sapphire blue glitter mist spray (Krylon).
Here is the card:
Iridescent bow:
Gold tulle with gold flecks:
Glittery rose:

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
