This week at Joan's Gardens we are challenged to make a card using an EF, the colors white and gold and pearls. This is an especially good combination for Christmas cards, which I am making a lot of these days.
The sentiment I used is taken from the Nicene Creed, and the portion quoted is, indeed, a reminder that Jesus Christ is begotten of the Father, which is the central substance of the Christmas message:
"God of God, Light of Light, Very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father."
Starting out with white cardstock, another white piece was run through a Spellbinders EF (Whimsy). The frame for the sentiment is from Spellbinders (Adorning Squares), as is the rose (Spiral Blossom One) and the flourish (Jewel Flowers and Flourishes). The outside edges of the frame are spray painted gold, and also, the rose and flourish are spray painted gold. The gold rose leaves and the gold baby's breath are from the floral section of my local craft store. A bow is added below the rose to accent it. Little gold pearls are in three of the corners of the frame.
Here is a picture of the card:

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
