This week at Joan's Gardens we get to make cards that are gold and white, use an embossing folder, and have pearls.
Starting out with white cardstock, another embossed layer of white (Cuttlebug Baby's Breath EF) was added. A nativity scene (Cottage Cutz nativity Silhouette) was cut from white and backed with several layers of gold tulle (also flecked with gold pieces), and attached on the left. I cut the die cut down a bit so that there would be more room for the sentiment. A gold mesh ribbon was attached on the right. Gold pearls were added to the nativity scene. The sentiment, printed from my computer, was framed in Sizzix 658791 Framelits, which I just got in the mail from Joan yesterday. (I love the stitching around the edges.) Gold ink is dabbed around the edges to make it show up better against the white background. A wire-edged gold bow is attached to the bottom of the frame.
The card still needed a little something, so I added a corner embellishment (Cheery Lynn Lace Border Deco B); it was sprayed with glue and sprinkled with gold glitter.
Here is the card:

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
