I am really enjoying making Christmas cards, and so far, each one is different from all the others. At some point closer to Christmas I may do some assembly line cards just to get enough made, but right now, each one is an original.
Not following anyone's guidelines, I just played round with some different materials to see what evolved.
Starting out with white cardstock, a red paper was added that had been run through a Darice EF (Crackle). It is overlaid with gold mesh tulle. You may not even be able to notice that the red paper is embossed, but it does seem to add some texture to the overall effect.
I cut a nativity scene (Cottage Cutz Nativity Silhouette) from white cardstock and added that, then put iridescent glitter glue on the part with the star, then topped that with a rhinestone. I had a chipboard piece that I spray painted with gold; on that is glued the word "Messiah." Then in the little ring part I tied a red bow and attached all to the top.
Here is the card:

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
